Well hey hey everyone! It has been a hot minute since I have posted but school just completely took over beyond belief. However, to make up for lost time, as you can see from the first picture this post is the start of a summer series! Prepare yourselves for posts dedicated to essentials and pretty things I love for the summer.



 As you can see this post is all about the beauty- what better place is there to start? So lets delve in to the things I love to use during these hotter months when that glow on your face that has evolved by mid afternoon may not necessarily be that highlighter you applied in the morning...

1. The bronzed glowy cheeks- Too Faced Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer
With one side a matte dark bronzer and the other a shimmer golden highlighter this product is so pretty for the cheeks during the hotter months. Dust it over the cheeks and it will look as if you have just been in the Bahamas sun bathing uninterrupted for a good week.Who needs the Bahamas now hey? (okay the Bahamas would still be nice who am I kidding)

2. The easy barely there base- Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizing Balm
This tinted moisturizer/skin care hybrid has really saved me now its getting warmer. Is it just me that hates the feeling of a thick foundation on the face when its warm? I feel like my pores are clogged (tmi?). Undetectable on the skin this product makes it look as if you're having a really really really good skin day. I often get people asking me what skincare I use to get glowing skin when I'm wearing this. I always say if other people notice it then it must just be that good.

3. The moisturizing pop of colour- Revlon Just Bitten Kissable in Lovesick
Yes I still do love this. With an instant pop of pink perfect for those even with the driest of lips this is ideal. Even better its easy to just throw in your bag for top ups during the day. 

4. The midday refresher- Caudalie Beauty Elixir
Now I won't lie to you, I initially had no idea what this did so being myself I just decided to buy now and figure out later (I blame all the bloggers/youtubers of the internet for that impulse). For once my impulsiveness actually worked. This is great to use during the day to just spray over the face and it'll instantly refresh the makeup on your face looking as if it was just applied. It also smells divine.
